Defining User Profiles

To restrict access and privileges in WorthIT we have created profile roles. A profile role identifies functions a user may perform. Before you can assign a user role, the users must be added or invited to the system. Users can only be assigned a single role.

There is a direct hierarchy of permissions where General Users have all the permissions of Read Only Users with some additional permissions, while Admins have all permissions of General Users.

Adding User Profiles

If you have additional licenses, an organization's admin can invite a user. If you need to purchase an additional license, contact our support team. There are currently three levels of user profiles available:

  1. Organization Admin User

    • Additionally, has access to the admin portal to manage licenses and user roles. This user may add or delete users from their own organization, as required (new hires etc.).
  2. Organization General User
    • Can view all pages within their Organization’s Fixed Assets environment.
    • Can generate reports to view data.
    • Can run and update depreciation for period and/or year-end.
    • Can make changes to asset-related data (add/edit/delete/dispose assets, perform transfers, add/edit categories).
    • Cannot make data changes to company information (add new companies, change GL account structures).
    • Cannot modify administrative aspects of the asset book (custom field names, setup of new companies, etc.).
  3. Organization Read Only User
