Assets List
Assets List
The main page of the WorthIT Fixed Assets application is the assets list. Here you will see a paged list of all your assets in a sortable and filterable table.
Customizing your view
There are number of customization options on your asset table.
Paging
You can see how many assets in total you have in your application at the bottom of the table. You can also select how many assets you would like to see on each page, as well as toggle between them. The default is 20 assets, but you can show as many as you like. Note that if you have a large number of assets, you should be mindful that it will require more loading time and more memory on your computer.
Search
WorthIT includes a search functionality that will search your list of assets based on the Asset ID and Asset Description, so you can always find the asset you are looking for. Enter your search text into the search box and the table will update accordingly.
Sorting and Filtering
As noted, the assets table is sortable and filterable. Any column can be sorted by clicking on the table header. For more complex filters, click the filter button above the table to bring a side-pane with more options.
Once the side panel pops open, you can see a list of columns in the system and some filter options within them. You can adjust your filters to your liking, and click "Done" at the bottom of the panel. Your view will update based on your selections.
Adjust Visible Columns
Some users have different preferences with regards to what data they need to see on the main table. To adjust this to your needs, click the Edit Columns button to open up the appropriate side panel. On this view you can select whether you want to include or exclude columns, or adjust the order that the columns display.
Drop down whichever section you want to adjust. In the column ordering, you can drag columns above or below others to change the order. For including columns, you can toggle them from the list as per below.
Saving Your View
If you're satisfied with your adjustments and want to save it, click the "Save column layout" button and the system will remember your preferences every time you navigate to the list page.
