Adding Global Insurance Policies in WorthIT Fixed Assets

Oftentimes, assets or groups of assets have insurance policies that apply to them. WorthIT provides a simple interface to manage global insurance policies that can be applied to assets for easy management.

Creating a new insurance policy

Navigate to the Insurance Policies page to see a list of existing insurance policies and to add new ones. Click "Add new insurance policy" to bring up the form as per below.

In this form you can set the following: Policy ID: The policy ID as per your insurance agreement. Description: Some further details describing the agreement. Company Information: Company details and contact information for your insurance provider. Policy Details: Monetary and coverage timeline details for this policy.

Adding a policy to an asset

Once your insurance policy is added, you can go to the asset details page and apply it.

Similar to vendors and tags, insurance policies can be used to filter reports so you can quickly export a list of all assets under a particular policy.
