Managing generic tasks and activities on your assets

This is an extension of the global task/activity feature in WorthIT, specific to an individual asset. Functionally it is very similar to Service, however intended for more generic use that may not fit neatly in any other category. One of the main differences is the ability to associate this task/activity with one that was set globally, so if you often perform similar tasks across assets you can save time this way.

Also useful, the task cost may be entered as either a positive or negative amount depending on the situation and financial requirement. If you are using the G/L feature, you must select the post codes that apply. Otherwise, the task will not create journal vouchers to post to the G/L.

Again, you can decide whether to include the depreciation in the remaining life of the asset or extend the life of the asset based on this change.
