Asset History Records

The Asset History page provides the user with a quick view of the financial picture of an individual asset.

By selecting the overall profile maintained, be it Corporate or Tax etc., the values for important parameters are displayed for the period or as-of-date selected. You should be able to evaluate the depreciation from every period that was run.

To view outcomes for a depreciation period, click on the down arrow to select a different set of depreciation history records for the date selected. You can evaluate each period as required.

If it becomes necessary to make drastic changes to the initial set of depreciation rules applied to an asset, you may wish to Lock History records prior to making your changes, to ensure previously booked G/L records are not modified during the re-calculation process.
